十戒　The Ten Commandments

わたしは主、あなたの神、あなたをエジプトの国、奴隷の家から導き出した神である。

1．あなたには、わたしをおいてほかに神があってはならない。

2．あなたはいかなる像も造ってはならない。

3．あなたの神、主の名をみだりに唱えてはならない。

4．安息日を心に留め、これを聖別せよ。

5．あなたの父母を敬え。

6．殺してはならない。

7．姦淫してはならない。

8．盗んではならない。

9．隣人に関して偽証してはならない。

10．隣人の家を欲してはならない。

"I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery."

1．You shall have no other gods before me.

2．You shall not make for yourself a carved image.

3．You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain.

4．Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.

5．Honor your father and your mother.

6．You shall not murder.

7．You shall not commit adultery.

8．You shall not steal.

9．You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.

10．You shall not covet your neighbor's house.
